And to all a good Night! Mom’s come down for the festivities and J’s made some non-traditional cabbage rolls and ham with scalloped potatoes for our Christmas feast. I hope you are all with friends, family and loved ones this season!
Oooh, misread a due date! Feeling a little stupid – not to mention a little more panicked than yesterday. ‘Course, I did get an extension for one of them, so that it actually sounds worse than it is. Nonetheless, cross your fingers folks!
J got home Friday night late. He’s been working on the mainland during the week, and I have to say that I miss him horribly when he’s gone. He has to catch another ferry tonight. Poo, I say. Fie on’t! (K.. that must be the Shakespeare class shining through)
I work until 10 tonight. You may ask, why so late on a Sunday? ‘Tis, the “Night Before the Night” which is the night before late-night shopping starts for the Christmas season. The mall has taken the opportunity to turn it into a charity night. They sell tickets to a set number of people who get to shop in the mall at special discount prices. And guess who gets to be one of the referees this time? That’s right! me! (Considering that there’s a line-up at work on the best of days, this is going to be a madhouse)
K, now that I have blogged to some satisfaction, I am going to haul butt back to that essay. 10 days until all the revisions and everything are done. Then all I have to worry about is studying for exams.
Oh yes, and organizing a clothing swap party.
